Impact of Universal Basic Income on Income and Poverty in Italy: A Multi-Scenario Analysis Using HFCS Data in EUROMOD

Mikrosimulace základního nepodmíněného příjmu v EUROMOD přisprívají probíhající diskusi o sociálních důsledcích a rozpočtové proveditelnosti této politiky. Evropská HFCS data použitá v této práci umožňují zdanění majetku jako způsob financování, aby byl základní nepodmíněný příjem rozpočtově neutrální. Tato práce zkoumá vliv tří unikátních scénářů na redistribuci příjmů a míru ohrožení chudobou na různé části italské populace. Rozmanitost italských regionů a boj s veřejným dluhem mohou vážně ohrozit proveditelnost scénářů v reálném světě. Výsledky práce následují trend radikálního snižování celkové chudoby a nerovnosti pozorovaný v této oblasti výzkumu. Tyto scénáře, spolu s pevnou daní z majetku, mají nepříznivé dopady na starší věkové skupiny, které se spoléhají na starobní důchody. Systém sociálních dávek má ve scénářích různé úrovně náhraditelnosti, které významně ovlivňují dopad na ohrožené skupiny. Práce nastoluje potenciální zmírnění nežádoucích účinků, které lze analyzovat v dalším výzkumu. Mikrosimulace postrádá behaviorální dopad základního nepodmíněného příjmu na jednotlivce, který je zachycen v provedených studiích v Evropě a Severní Americe.
Factors Affecting Financial Literacy of Secondary School Students in the Czech Republic

This master thesis deals with the factors influencing the financial literacy of students in the Czech Republic. The main aim of the thesis was to find out whether specific factors have an impact on the financial literacy of these students. Among the factors surveyed were gender, highest parenting education and total household income. In this master thesis, quantitative research was used through a questionnaire survey aimed at exploring and evaluating the level of financial literacy of secondary school students. The hypothesis that were tested by statistical methods using the two-choice F-test and t-test were determined. Based on the results, the hypotheses were either accepted or rejected.
Mesuring of economic performance of regions

The aim of this diploma thesis is to cover the catching up with the economic level among the countries of middle and eastern Europe. More accurately it analyses GDP per capita and household income per capita as one of the key economic indicators. The thesis concretely focuses on analysis of beta and sigma convergence and cluster analysis of the mentioned regions and concurrently at the background of the analysis explains some theoretical terms from areas of economics, econometrics and statistics. The analysis was concluded in IBM SPSS programme which belongs to the most complex, user friendly and professionally often used expert tools. The data for the analysis were used from Eurostat.
The Risk of Poverty in the Czech Republic

The task of my diploma thesis which I wrote on the topic: The risk of poverty in Czech Republic, is to search for typical factors that can be considered as "risky" due to their impact to households income. The work is mainly focused on analysis of the situation in the Czech republic, compared to other member countries of the European Union. I focused in bigger detail for selected factors, such as the progress of the gross domestic product, inflation, unemployment, health status of population, education, risk of households from the view of the monetar poverty, material deprivation or social exclusion
Income Situation of Households in the Czech Republic and Environmental Behaviour

The bachelor thesis deals with Czech household income and their environment behaviour. The work is divided into three important parts. In the first part, the descripitons of environment and of ecological footprint are analyzed. The Czech household income from 2007 to 2012 is also analyzed in the first part of the thesis. Next chapter deals with currect issues of the environment caused by the human. Last part deals with the final analysis of the work.
Analysis of target market household income and efectivity of direct sales on the market of educational products

The bachelor thesis is focused on direct selling as the oldest part of current integrated marketing communications and its relation to household income of the target market. The objective of this thesis is to valorize the influence of the median household income on production of every direct salesman. The theoretical part is mainly focused on the description of direct sales and its position on the world market. Further it follows up with profiles of dealers, cycle of selling and the ways of direct sales organization. At the end of theoretical part I also describe market segmentation and the factor of household income. The purpose of analytical part of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the production of six chosen students who worked with Southwestern Advantage company in direct sales in years 2011 and 2012. Students sold educational products in various locations in the United States of America. In major part of the practical part of the bachelor thesis I compare the production of each student through each year and household income in the precise location. Fraction of the practical part is focused on the description of Southwestern Advantage, target market of the company, profiles of dealers working with the company and comparation of company's products and products of the closest rivals on the market. In conclusion I evaluate the relation between direct selling production on this market and household income in location sold and I suggest ways of either getting rid of the negative features or using it for company's advantage.

Financial Situation of Households

The financial situations of households are among the key factors influencing the market in the country. This thesis focuses on analyzing and evaluating the potential and financial position of Czech and Slovak households. It deals mainly with the analysis of data from the years 2004 to 2008, which is the period of the entrance of Slovakia and the Czech Republic into the European Union. The theoretical section describes events in particular, the economic and financial situation of households in those two countries during the observed years. The practical process uses different types of statistical methods and analysis to identify the financial situation in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as identify the differences between them. The conclusion summarizes the findings and observations of the research findings, which are implemented in the practical section.
